We believe our client base now encompasses almost every type of industry and profession and includes clients from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the metropolitan area, Queensland Country, interstate and overseas.

Since our inception in the 1990’s our firm has developed a very strong network of related experts, covering all fields in legal, finance and investment. As such, we have no difficulty in seeking expert advice wherever and whenever needed.

CMA Accounting and Taxation Services managing director is Craig Marker and is backed by a team of  qualified accountants and an enthusiastic support team who are highly trained and competent and offer a range of specialist skills. The firm has in place the most up-to-date accounting computer packages available.

Craig Marker is a qualified accountant with the prestigious designation of Fellow Professional National Accountant (F.P.N.A.) from the National Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of the National Tax and Accountants Association (F.N.T.A.A.) and is also a registered Tax Agent.

His considerable experience includes the combination of twelve years in the banking industry, two years in hospitality, three years in retail as the general manager of 14 diversified retail outlets employing over 220 staff and more than eighteen years experience in public practice. Craig has spent a total of nine of those years as Managing Director of Craig Marker Accounting Pty Limited the principle of CMA Accounting and Taxation Services which, along with a continuing commitment to education provides a sound basis for Craig to provide quality advice.

Peter Hourn

Peter Hourn, Principal

 

Peter Hourn is an Authorised Representative of Professional Investment Services (ABN 11 074 608 558) which is the holder of Australian Financial services License No 234 951.

He has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments, Diploma of Financial Planning and a Diploma in Financial Markets. He has 8 years experience in the investment industry starting as a Stock Broker in 2000. Prior to this Peter owned and managed small businesses which gives him a solid base from which to give advice.

He is committed to keeping up with changes in the industry and has access to experts in given fields through Professional Investment Services.

Community plays a big part in his life and currently he completes patrols at Marcoola Beach where he is also President of the Surf Life Saving Club.
